Visitation and Accreditation Management Sciences Doctoral Program (MSDP) FE UB

Thursday (8 / 10), Faculty of Economics, University of Brawijaya (FE UB) the arrival of important guests from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (NABHE). Marwan Asri, Prof.., DR., MBA (UGM), Miyasto, Prof.., DR., SU (UNDIP), and Sucherly, Prof.., DR., SE., MS (UNPAD), they are a team Assessor State Accreditation Board University (SABU) assigned to perform MSDP FE Visitation at UB, related filing MSDP FE accreditation by UB.
MSDP FE UB Accreditation lasts for 2 days is 8-10 October 2009. In that period, Assessor team of SABU conducted a series of activities that aim to evaluate and validate the information that has been sent previously to the SABU. Assessor team also conducted a series of face to face, among others lined dean level (Dean, Assistant Dean), Chair S3 Studies Program, Faculty, Students, and MSDP alumni . Present, the Rector of UPN (Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran”), which helped provide support for the implementation of accreditation MSDP FE UB. This support, because of the close relationship between MSDP FE UB with UPN, UPN, where some lecturers have succeeded through S3 and doctoral degree at MSDP UB FE. Owner Bank AMIN, Kedawung Group, and Dean of Faculty of Administration University of Brawijaya also help to give testimony and present in the face sessions. They are a small portion of users who use FE PDIM UB alumni. Implementation of face-to-face and this dialogue took place in the Main Courtroom FE UB. In addition to face-to-face, physical reviews are also conducted on the means and facilities in FE UB, UB especially MSDP FE.
Prof. Ubud Salim, Head of Study Program S3, when found on the sidelines of a rest break and Accreditation Visitation MSDP FE UB, said that all activities undertaken by the Visitation Assessor Team, aims to assess whether the reports provided pursuant SABU, and to know correspondence between what is reported and actual field conditions. “They want to make proposals cross-check report, conditions of teaching and learning activities, facilities and infrastructure, how the laboratory, how state building, all in Assessor cross-check team as a whole,” he said.
This accreditation activities for the first time, according to the provisions of the Act states that every university should be accredited to ensure quality of education. While ideally, accreditation is done every 4 years. “During this MSDP using formal permission from the Director General only. If the university is not accredited university is not recognized. In addition Accreditation also shows the quality of these universities. So alumnus of this college can guarantee quality and can be recognized, “said Prof. Ubud.
Before the implementation of this program has done MSDP preparations. Starting from preparing the necessary reports required and other improvements are included in the assessment items. Prof. Ubud assured that during this MSDP continued improvements continuously, because MSDP wants to go to the International level. “The results of this Visitation approximately out about 2 months, or approximately 57 days of assessment”, the light of Prof. Ubud. Selection Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Generation School of Economics is one of the 2009 work program of the Student Day. The purpose of these elections is to maintain the closeness relationships between the new students in one class. So if there are important activities which are for new students, the information can be transmitted to the right target.
The following series of events and vice-chairman of the selection generation in 2009:

October 11: Introduction to Curiculum Vitae (CV) of the candidates and their vision and mission.
October 14: Oration and presentation of work and discussion programs.
October 15: Voting (08.00-15.00 WIB)

The entire series of events are held by a freshman in 2009, amounting to force 50 people. With the chairman and vice-generation is expected to facilitate the access of new students to get information on all the activities that are for new students, as well as to maintain the cohesiveness of the new students to graduate. International Accounting is agreat class and the lecturers are very hight quality. I’m very thankfull to God cause I can join with international accounting class.
